Temperature control valve, also known as thermostatic valve. No matter which type of air compressor lubricating oil we use, there is a suitable operating temperature range. Overtemperature or low-temperature operation will have corresponding adverse consequences, such as inability to establish an oil film or excessive viscosity of the lubricating oil.
For screw air compressors, the suitable temperature for lubricating oil is between 70~85 degree . When the air compressor is started after being left idle for a long time, the oil temperature is only equivalent to the ambient temperature. In order to ensure a smooth start of the air compressor, the temperature control valve will directly guide the lubricating oil to the main engine without passing through the oil cooler. This will ensure that the lubricating oil quickly heats up and reaches the ideal working temperature. Once the lubricating oil reaches an acceptable operating temperature, the temperature control valve will guide the oil flow to the oil cooler to maintain that operating temperature and ensure that the oil does not overheat.
With the acceleration of economic development and industrial modernization, air compressors, as an important source of gas, are widely used in various daily life practices. Mastering their composition, principles, and common problem-solving strategies can not only ensure the stable operation of air compressor equipment, but also help enterprises reduce unnecessary losses.
